Pride Go Go Elite Traveller Plus

This scooter comes apart in exactly the same way as the elite traveler, but offers some very attractive extra features.

It comes with 17 amp batteries which give you a maximum range of 14 miles. It also has bigger wheels that give you extra ground clearance, which enables you to tackle more robust terrain. A bigger motor gives you more power and enables this scooter to carry a user of up to 21 stone. It comes with delta controls, which mean that instead of pushing with your thumbs to control the backward and forwards, you can pull with your fingers.

The elite traveler plus is a better scooter with fantastic features, but these come at a slight cost. It weighs more than the elite traveler. Most of the extra weight is in the batteries. You have to decide for yourselves whether you can handle the extra weight for the extra features.

If you can’t decide between this and the Elite traveler, please order the cheapest one (elite traveler) and when I phone to arrange delivery ask me to bring both. I can then show you the differences and you can try the different weights. If you then decide that the plus is the one for you, then you can take that one and pay the difference.
